Personal Retreat Questions

Spiritual:

Where are you making space to meet with God?

What spiritual practice is meant to be focused on during this season? Where are you seeing God in your day to day? (Pause at least once a day and take notice of where you are seeing God in that moment.)

Emotional:

List three major emotions you feel heading into the week. Are any surprising? Can you pinpoint where those feelings are coming from? Where do you feel those emotions in your body?

What emotions need more space to process with the Lord and others? Which need to be surrendered to the Lord and not given more weight?

Mental:

What are reoccurring thoughts you are having? What fears are driving your decision making?

Are you having imaginary conversations that need to be addressed?

What thoughts need more processing? Which thoughts need to be taken captive through the power of the Holy Spirit?

How much screen time are you currently using? Is anything else playing a major distraction in your focus?

Physical:

Rate stress levels from 1-10 (1—worst, 10 being best)

Are there any physical symptoms you are having this week that should be noted?

Is there anything happening physically that would affect your

productivity or focus (hormonal, stress, chronic health concerns, etc.) How are you prioritizing exercise and nutritional eating this week by intentional planning?
